| Six Pillars Century: Ride Details
Start and Finish Information:
The ride starts at the Great Marsh Park in historic Cambridge, Maryland on Saturday May 1, 2010. The majority of the ride is through the beautiful and picturesque Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge. It is a “show and go” start, meaning you don’t have to check-in. You may start as early as 7 a.m., but please not later than 9 a.m. You are free to ride at your own pace, but we do request that you return by 6 p.m. when route services end. Riders should be off the roads by sunset.
Safety Rules and Guidelines:
Obey all traffic laws, including Maryland bicycle laws and Six Pillars Century rules. All riders are reminded that helmets are required. More comprehensive safety guidelines are provided in the registration packet.
Registration Packets:
Registration packets can be picked up at Great Marsh Park in Cambridge, Maryland from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, April 30.
Packets will also be available at Great Marsh Park beginning at 6:00 am the day of the ride.
Rain or Shine:
This is a rain or shine event. Also, it is a good idea to carry your cellular phone in a waterproof cover.
